Esther (Hetty) Heiser

Esther, known as Hetty, was born on June 26th, 1898 in Mile End. Hetty's father was Michael Heiser and her mother was Charlotte Mendes. Her paternal grandparents were Abraham Heiser and Sarah Levy; her maternal grandparents were Mordecai (Alexander) Elisha Mendes and Elizabeth Abrahams. She had seven brothers and four sisters, named Samuel, Jack John, Alexander, Sidney, Alfred, David, Reuben, Elizabeth, Bessie, Edyth and Sarah. She was the eleventh oldest of the twelve children.
