Abraham (Alfred) Heiser

Abraham, known as Alfred, was born on January 11th, 1894 in Mile End. Alfred's father was Michael Heiser and his mother was Charlotte Mendes. His paternal grandparents were Abraham Heiser and Sarah Levy; his maternal grandparents were Mordecai (Alexander) Elisha Mendes and Elizabeth Abrahams. He had six brothers and five sisters, named Samuel, Jack John, Alexander, Sidney, David, Reuben, Elizabeth, Bessie, Edyth, Sarah and Hetty. He was the nineth oldest of the twelve children. He died at the age of 29 on December 27th, 1923 in Hackney.¹
