John Stones

John was born on December 31st, 1854 in Beevers Bridge, Yorkshire.¹

John's father was Charles Emanuel Stones and his mother was Harriet Mary Hall. His maternal grandparents were William Hall and Mary Hepworth. He had five brothers and nine sisters, named James, William, Robert, Frederick, Alexander, Mary, Hannah, Elizabeth, Emma, Sarah, Sarah, Miriam, Minnie and Ada. He was the seventh youngest of the fifteen children. He died at the age of 73 on November 7th, 1928.¹
