Thomas Oliver

Thomas was born in September 1847 in Oakley, Hampshire.¹ Thomas' father was John Oliver and his mother was Harriett Matthews. His paternal grandparents were Peter Oliver and Sarah Worte; his maternal grandparents were Joseph Matthews and Ann Dicker. He had four brothers and six sisters, named Abraham, Joseph, David, Esau, Emily, Sarah, Ann, Mary, Elizabeth and Harriett. He was the fifth youngest of the eleven children.
