Jane Louisa Groves

Jane was born in June 1855 in Whippingham, Isle of Wight and her christening took place on April 8th, 1855 in St Mary, Cowes, Isle of Wight.¹² Jane's father was Henry Groves and her mother was Jane Pilkington. Her paternal grandparents were William Groves and Jane Barnett. She had two brothers named Joseph and George. She was the youngest of the three children.
