Alice Jane Groves

Alice was born on March 26th, 1863 in Whippingham, Isle of Wight and her christening took place there on April 26th, 1863.¹

Alice's father was Charles Groves and her mother was Kate Lowe. Her paternal grandparents were William Groves and Jane Barnett. She had a brother and three sisters, named Charles, Kate, Matilda and Mary. She was the oldest of the five children.
