Emma Gannaway

Emma was born in 1840 in Southampton, Hampshire.¹ Emma's father was Henry George Gannaway and her mother was Mary Ann Bishop. Her paternal grandparents were Henry George Gannaway and Ann Mainer. She had four brothers and two sisters, named Henry, Thomas, Charles, Alfred, Eliza and Martha. She was the second oldest of the seven children.
