Joseph was born on April 5th, 1752 in Barking Essex and his christening took place on April 7th, 1752 at St Margaret's Barking.1  Joseph's father was Henry Thredder and his mother was Jane Marchant.  His paternal grandfather is Henry Thredder (Fisherman) and his paternal grandmother was Jane Moungall (confirmed NicMoungal Will); his maternal grandparents are Thomas Marchant (Jnr) and <Unknown>. He had five brothers and a sister, named Henry, Henry, Nicholas, John, William and Jane.  He was the second youngest of the seven children.



Joseph's family

Joseph and Mary were married.  They had three daughters named Susannah, Mary and Jane.
