    daughter Donna Bishop:  "They only had one son, my father, Hugh Francis.  He was born in Somerset County, Pennsylvania March 9, 1912.  My father was in World War II and while he was in France, he met the woman who was to become my mother.  He brought her to the US in 1947, they married in July 1947 and I was born the following year.  My father, Hugh, died ion November 2, 1971 in Pittsburgh, PA from a heart attack at the age of 59.  My mother returned to France in 1983 and died there in 1987."
