Elizabeth's father was Thomas Bellingham and her mother was Rachel Georgina [Lisheegan] MacKay.  Her paternal grandparents were Thomas Bellingham and (Margaret or Mary) Jane McCart; her maternal grandparents were William [Monaghan] Mackey and Matilda [Bellaghbeddy] Boyd. She had six brothers and four sisters, named Thomas, William, Francis, John, Alexander, Francis, Jane, Matilda, Margaret and Frances.  She was the sixth oldest of the eleven children.  She died at the age of 87 in 1975.
