Bryce's father was Peter Turner and his mother was Catherine Fotheringham Archibald.  His paternal grandparents were Peter Turner Sr. and Mary Russell. He had six brothers and two sisters, named Peter, Robert, William, John, George, Frank, Annie and Mary.  He was the fourth youngest of the nine children.  He died at the age of 71 on December 26th, 1942 in New York City.  He was buried on December 30th, 1942 in Montana.
