Agnes' father was Hugh Savage and her mother was Margaret Dickson.  Her paternal grandparents were Thomas Savage and Elspeth Bone. She had three brothers and five sisters, named Robert, David, Francis, Grace, Elspeth, Margaret, Daniel and Minia.  She was the second youngest of the nine children. She had a half-sister named Grace.  She died at the age of 82 in 1947 in Falkirk.
