James McMurran

James was born in 1836 in Newton-on-Ayr.¹² James' father was John McMurran and his mother was Agnes Robertson. His paternal grandparents were William McMurran and <Unknown>; his maternal grandparents were Robertson and <Unknown>. He had four brothers and two sisters, named George, John, William, Thomas, Alice and Agnes. He was the oldest of the seven children. He died at the age of 77 in 1913 in Glasgow.
