Margaret, known as Maggie, was born on December 31st, 1886 in Cumberland.¹

Maggie's father was John Maxwell and her mother was Isabella Henderson. Her maternal grandparents were Michael Henderson and Margaret Galloway. She had four brothers and three sisters, named Joe, Andrew, Jack, Harry, Elizabeth, Mary and Ellen. She was the third oldest of the eight children. She died at the age of 78 on August 28th, 1965 in New York state.
