Andrew's father was John Maxwell and his mother was Isabella Henderson. His maternal grandparents were Michael Henderson and Margaret Galloway. He had three brothers and four sisters, named Joe, Jack, Harry, Maggie, Elizabeth, Mary and Ellen. He was the second oldest of the eight children. He died at the age of 64 on August 9th, 1949 in Massachusetts. He was buried in Massachusetts.¹
