Thomas Marshall

Thomas was born in 1839 in Shotts.^1 2   Thomas' father was James Marshall and his mother was Christina Ballantine.  His paternal grandparents were James Marshall and Elizabeth Hamilton. He had three brothers and four sisters, named James, John, Gavin, Anne, Elizabeth, Margaret and Christina.  He was the fourth oldest of the eight children.  He died at the age of 76 on July 22nd, 1915 in Annan.  He was buried in Shotts.^3 3
