Margaret Mitchell Marshall

Margaret was born in 1839 in Lanarkshire.¹

Margaret's father was James Marshall and her mother was Christina Ballantine. Her paternal grandparents were James Marshall and Elizabeth Hamilton. She had four brothers and three sisters, named James, Thomas, John, Gavin, Anne, Elizabeth and Christina. She was the fourth youngest of the eight children. She died at the age of 88 on June 23rd, 1927 in Carluke. She was buried in Shotts.²²
