Anne Chapman Marshall

Anne was born in December 1834 in Shotts and her baptism took place there on December 23rd, 1834.¹

Anne's father was James Marshall and her mother was Christina Ballantine. Her paternal grandparents were James Marshall and Elizabeth Hamilton. She had four brothers and three sisters, named James, Thomas, John, Gavin, Elizabeth, Margaret and Christina. She was the second oldest of the eight children. She died at the age of 11 on May 4th, 1846. She was buried in Shotts.¹¹
