Elizabeth Hamilton Marshall

Elizabeth was born in March 1837 in Shotts and her baptism took place there on March 15th, 1837.¹²

Elizabeth's father was James Marshall and her mother was Christina Ballantine. Her paternal grandparents were James Marshall and Elizabeth Hamilton. She had four brothers and three sisters, named James, Thomas, John, Gavin, Anne, Margaret and Christina. She was the third oldest of the eight children. She died at the age of 71 in 1908 in Carluke.
