Gavin Marshall B. Marshall

Gavin was born on May 4th, 1852.^1 2   Gavin's father was John Marshall and his mother was Margaret Black.  His paternal grandparents were James Marshall and Elizabeth Hamilton. He had three brothers and a sister, named Thomas, Richard, George and Marion.  He was the youngest of the five children. He had two half-brothers and four half-sisters, named James, John, Mary, Elizabeth, Ann and Margaret.  He died at the age of 25 on October 19th, 1877 in Shotts.  He was buried in Shotts.^1 1
