Margaret Kirkwood

Margaret was born in October 1716 in Kilsyth and her baptism took place there on October 27th, 1716.

Margaret's father was John Kirkwood and her mother was Isabel Hendrie.  Her maternal grandparents were James Hendrie and Isabel Strathan. She had four brothers and three sisters, named Thomas, William, James, William, Isobel, Christian and Barbara.  She was the youngest of the eight children.
