Barbara Kirkwood

Barbara was born in November 1710 in Kilsyth and her baptism took place there on November 23rd, 1710.

Barbara's father was John Kirkwood and her mother was Isabel Hendrie.  Her maternal grandparents were James Hendrie and Isabel Strathan. She had four brothers and three sisters, named Thomas, William, James, William, Isobel, Christian and Margaret.  She was the third youngest of the eight children.
