James Kirkwood

James' father was John Kirkwood and his mother was Isabel Hendrie.  His maternal grandparents were James Hendrie and Isabel Strathan. He had three brothers and four sisters, named Thomas, William, William, Isobel, Christian, Barbara and Margaret.  He was the fourth youngest of the eight children.
