Isobel Kirkwood

Isobel was born in March 1699 in Kilsyth and her baptism took place there on March 19th, 1699.

Isobel's father was John Kirkwood and her mother was Isabel Hendrie.  Her maternal grandparents were James Hendrie and Isabel Strathan. She had four brothers and three sisters, named Thomas, William, James, William, Christian, Barbara and Margaret.  She was the second oldest of the eight children.
