Catherine (Kate) Ferguson Fyfe

Catherine, known as Kate, was born on March 18th, 1864 in Govan.¹²

Kate's father was James Fyfe and her mother was Margaret (Maggie) Hamilton. Her maternal grandparents were Hugh Hamilton and Catherine Ferguson. She had three brothers and three sisters, named James, John, Samuel, Jessie, Maggie and Helen. She was the oldest of the seven children. She died at the age of 78 on March 19th, 1942 in Newton Mearns.³
