Hugh Hamilton 
Hugh was born in 1799 in Old Cumnock.1 2 Hugh's father was Thomas Hamilton and his mother was Janet McLatchie. His maternal grandparents were John McLatchie and Janet Crawford. He had two brothers and a sister, named Hall, Thomas and Helen. He died at the age of 77 on January 30th, 1876 in Tealing. The funeral took place on February 3rd, 1876 in Paisley.
