Julia Brown 
Julia was born in 1875 in Liberton.1 Julia's father was Thomas Brown and her mother was Janet Johnston. Her maternal grandparents were John Johnston and Ann Hardie Dick. She had four brothers and four sisters, named John, Andrew, David, James, Ann, Anna, Christina and Elizabeth. She was the third youngest of the nine children.-
