Elizabeth Brown 
Elizabeth was born in 1878 in Liberton.1 2 Elizabeth's father was Thomas Brown and her mother was Janet Johnston. Her maternal grandparents were John Johnston and Ann Hardie Dick. She had four brothers and four sisters, named John, Andrew, David, James, Ann, Anna, Christina and Julia. She was the second youngest of the nine children.-
