John Wesley was born on January 22nd, 1833 in Sevier County, Tennessee.  John Wesley's father was Isaac Love and his mother was Mary Lewis.  His maternal grandparents were Mordecai Lewis and Mary Ziegler. He had eight brothers and five sisters, named William King, James Thomas, Alexander Preston, Andrew Martin, Mordecai Lewis, Reuben Blount, Isaac Moore, Elizabeth Thompson, Mary Lewis, Susannah, Sally KenCannon, Catherine McDonald and Margaret Mitchell Wear.  He was the youngest of the fourteen children.
