St. Clair Colyer 
St. Clair was born on December 15th, 1819 in Somerset, Pulaski County, Kentucky. St. Clair's father was John Wesley Colyer and his mother was Lydia Memes Purvis. His maternal grandparents were James Purvis and Rhoda Roberts. He had seven brothers and three sisters, named Lindsey Robert, Cyrenus Wait, Jehu, James Perry, Martin, Charles Grenade, Stephen, Elizabeth, Harriet and Manerva (Menerva). He was the third oldest of the eleven children. He died at the age of 32 in 1851.General Notes
