Cyrenus Wait Colyer 
Cyrenus Wait was born on June 23rd, 1824 in Pulaski County, Kentucky. Cyrenus Wait's father was John Wesley Colyer and his mother was Lydia Memes Purvis. His maternal grandparents were James Purvis and Rhoda Roberts. He had seven brothers and three sisters, named St. Clair, Lindsey Robert, Jehu, James Perry, Martin, Charles Grenade, Stephen, Elizabeth, Harriet and Manerva (Menerva). He was the fifth oldest of the eleven children. He died at the age of 74 on July 8th, 1898.General Notes
