Charles Grenade Colyer 
Charles Grenade was born on August 8th, 1832 in Pulaski County, Kentucky. Charles Grenade's father was John Wesley Colyer and his mother was Lydia Memes Purvis. His maternal grandparents were James Purvis and Rhoda Roberts. He had seven brothers and three sisters, named St. Clair, Lindsey Robert, Cyrenus Wait, Jehu, James Perry, Martin, Stephen, Elizabeth, Harriet and Manerva (Menerva). He was the second youngest of the eleven children. He died at the age of 77 on April 11th, 1910 in Pulaski County, Kentucky.General Notes
