Isaac Slayton 
Isaac was born on September 17th, 1869 in Wyoma, Mason, WV.1 Isaac's father was Daniel W. Slayton and his mother was Mary Shiltz. His paternal grandparents were Luther Slayton and Almina Preston; his maternal grandparents were John Shiltz and Catherine. He had twelve brothers and four sisters, named James W., Phineas Edwin, Phineas Edwin, George A, George Albert, John N, Cyrus E, Thadeus Jacob, Thadeus Jacob, Samuel Vernon, Samuel Vernon, Isaac, Esther, Elizabeth J., Catherine and Catherine. He was the youngest of the seventeen children.1 -
