Luther Slayton 
Luther was born on February 25th, 1803 in Calais, Washington, VT.1 Luther's father was Phineas Slayton and his mother was Experience Gleeson. His paternal grandparents were Phinihas Slaton and Eleanor Morey. He had four brothers and two sisters, named Phineas, Harvey, Phineas, Elijah, Abigail and Melinda. He was the second youngest of the seven children. He died at the age of 83 on August 13th, 1886 in Bedford Station, Calhoun, MI.1 -
