George Albert Slayton 
George Albert was born on December 15th, 1855 in Michagan.1 George Albert's father was Daniel W. Slayton and his mother was Mary Shiltz. His paternal grandparents were Luther Slayton and Almina Preston; his maternal grandparents were John Shiltz and Catherine. He had twelve brothers and four sisters, named James W., Phineas Edwin, Phineas Edwin, George A, John N, Cyrus E, Thadeus Jacob, Thadeus Jacob, Samuel Vernon, Samuel Vernon, Isaac, Isaac, Esther, Elizabeth J., Catherine and Catherine. He was the seventh oldest of the seventeen children. He died at the age of 82 on January 30th, 1938 in Mason, WV.1 -
