Elizabeth was born about 1246 in Dundonald, Ayrshire, Scotland. Elizabeth's father was Alexander Stewart De Bonkyl and her mother is Jean MacRory. Her paternal grandfather was Walter FitzAlan Stewart and her paternal grandmother is Beatrix Ogilvie; her maternal grandparents are James MacRory and Ragnhild of the Isles. She had three brothers and four sisters, named Alexander, James, John, Alianore, Mary, Margaret and Hawise. She was the fourth youngest of the eight children. She died before January 24th, 1296 in London, Middlesex, England.General Notes
