William III was born about 1193 in Derbyshire, England.  William III's father was William II De Ferrers and his mother was Agnes De Meschines.  His paternal grandparents were Walkelin FitzRobert De Ferrers and Sybil De Braose; his maternal grandparents were Hugh Keveliok De Meschines and Bertred De Montfort of Evereaux. He had three brothers and three sisters, named Thomas, Hugh, Robert, Berta, Sybil and Agnes.  He was the oldest of the seven children.  He died on March 24th, 1254 in Evington, Leicestershire, England.

‌William III and Sibilla were married in a religious ceremony about 1225.  They had four daughters named Isabel, Maud, Joan and Agatha.


William III's second family with Margaret De Qunicy

‌William III and Margaret were married in a religious ceremony in 1238.  They had two sons and four daughters, named Robert, William IV, Margaret, Elizabeth, Agnes and Joan.
