William II De Ferrers 
William II was born in 1170 in Ferrers, Derbyshire, England. William II's father was Walkelin FitzRobert De Ferrers and his mother was Sybil De Braose. His paternal grandfather was Robert De Ferrers and his paternal grandmother is Margaret Peverel; his maternal grandfather was William De Braose and his maternal grandmother is Bertha De Pitres of Gloucester. He had six sisters named Elizabeth, Agatha, Robert, Millicent, Pernell and Petronella. He was the fourth oldest of the seven children.
