Sylvia Porter

Sylvia was born on April 25th, 1829 in New London, Huron, OH, USA.¹   Sylvia's father was Philo Thomas Porter.  Her paternal grandparents are Thomas Porter and Phebe Bassett. She had six brothers and three sisters, named Alfred, William, Philo, George Washington, Albert Miner, Daniel Webster, Polly Elmina, Almira and Phebe.  She was the fifth oldest of the ten children.  She died at the age of 24 on October 20th, 1853 in New London, Huron, OH, USA.¹
