George Washington Porter

George Washington was born on May 16th, 1835 in New London, Huron, OH, USA.¹   George Washington's father was Philo Thomas Porter.  His paternal grandparents are Thomas Porter and Phebe Bassett. He had five brothers and four sisters, named Alfred, William, Philo, Albert Miner, Daniel Webster, Polly Elmina, Almira, Phebe and Sylvia.  He was the fourth youngest of the ten children.  He died at the age of 71 on April 13th, 1907 in Madison, Dane, WI, USA.¹
