Alfred Porter

Alfred was born on August 11th, 1822 in New London, Huron, OH, USA.¹   Alfred's father was Philo Thomas Porter.  His paternal grandparents are Thomas Porter and Phebe Bassett. He had five brothers and four sisters, named William, Philo, George Washington, Albert Miner, Daniel Webster, Polly Elmina, Almira, Phebe and Sylvia.  He was the oldest of the ten children.  He died at the age of 77 on December 27th, 1899 in Council Grove, Morris, KS, USA.¹
