Philo Porter

Philo was born on February 28th, 1831 in "              "            ".¹   Philo's father was Philo Thomas Porter.  His paternal grandparents are Thomas Porter and Phebe Bassett. He had five brothers and four sisters, named Alfred, William, George Washington, Albert Miner, Daniel Webster, Polly Elmina, Almira, Phebe and Sylvia.  He was the fifth youngest of the ten children.  He died at the age of 68 on June 19th, 1899 in "              "            ".¹
