William McDaniel 
William was born in 1774. William's father was John McDaniel and his mother was Margaret Peggy Rucker. His paternal grandparents were George McDaniel and Margaret Goff; his maternal grandparents were Ambrose Rucker and Mary Tinsley. He had two brothers and four sisters, named George, Ambrose Rucker, Elizabeth, Judith, Margaret and Mary.-
