John Rucker McDaniel 
John Rucker was born in 1813. John Rucker's father was William McDaniel and his mother was Elizabeth Pendelton. His paternal grandparents were John McDaniel and Margaret Peggy Rucker. He had four brothers and eight sisters, named James Pendleton, William, Phillip B., Edward Jackson, Sally Rucker, Margaret, Catherine, Elizabeth, Jane, Lindsey, Mary Anne and Sophia Burrus. He was the sixth oldest of the thirteen children.-
