James Pendleton McDaniel 
James Pendleton was born in 1809. James Pendleton's father was William McDaniel and his mother was Elizabeth Pendelton. His paternal grandparents were John McDaniel and Margaret Peggy Rucker. He had four brothers and eight sisters, named John Rucker, William, Phillip B., Edward Jackson, Sally Rucker, Margaret, Catherine, Elizabeth, Jane, Lindsey, Mary Anne and Sophia Burrus. He was the fourth oldest of the thirteen children. He died at the age of 68 in 1877.-
