Sophia Burrus McDaniel 
Sophia Burrus was born in 1827. Sophia Burrus' father was William McDaniel and her mother was Elizabeth Pendelton. Her paternal grandparents were John McDaniel and Margaret Peggy Rucker. She had five brothers and seven sisters, named James Pendleton, John Rucker, William, Phillip B., Edward Jackson, Sally Rucker, Margaret, Catherine, Elizabeth, Jane, Lindsey and Mary Anne. She was the second youngest of the thirteen children. She died at the age of 62 in 1889.-
