John Clyde Goosby 
John Clyde was born on February 4th, 1897 in Newberg,Comanche Co.,Texas. John Clyde's father was John Henry Goosby and his mother was Martha Barbara Allen. His maternal grandparents were William Barrett Travis Allen and Mary Elizabeth Snider. He had two brothers and three sisters, named Edgar Travis, George Randolph, Lillie Belle, Mary Lou and Ruby Lee. He was the third youngest of the six children. He died at the age of 95 on March 19th, 1992 in Harlingen,Cameron Co.,Texas.-
