Rhoda L. was born in 1788 in Wilkes County,NC. Rhoda L.'s father was Alexander Gilreath and her mother was Elizabeth Souther. Her paternal grandparents were William Gilreath and Mary Arrington. She had five brothers and three sisters, named Jeremiah, George, Larkin W., James Harvey, Noah, Mary "Polly", Lucy and Elizabeth. She was the fourth oldest of the nine children. She died about 1884 in KY.-
