Mary was born in 1731 in Cedars,Edgecombe County,North Carolina. Mary's father is Arthur Arrington and her mother is Mary Sandifur. Her paternal grandparents were Arthur Arrington and Mary West; her maternal grandparents are William Sandifur and Mary Tompkins. She had two brothers named William and Arthur. She was the oldest of the three children. She died at the age of 57 on January 13th, 1788 in Greenville,South Carolina.-
