Hugh Gilreath 
Hugh was born about 1782 in NC. Hugh's father was William , Jr. Gilreath and his mother was Sarah "Sallie" Jones. His paternal grandparents were William Gilreath and Mary Arrington. He had four brothers and four sisters, named Henry H., Hardie Jones, William Hilliar., Hiram, Martha P., Delilah, Rebecca and Susanna. He was the oldest of the nine children. He died in 1816 in Wilkes County,NC.-
